As a professional photographer, Suzi won many awards for her wedding work, pregnancy photo-shoots and her work with pets - especially dogs, cats and horses. As time went on she found herself wanting to spend more time with her artwork. She uses a method that incorporates her photography skills. Some images, she finds, are best left as fine art photographic prints whereas others encourage her to paint them.
Suzi’s paintings begin with a series of photographic references which she then synthesizes into one image and digitally paints. These are then printed out onto Fine Art watercolour papers or canvas. The files are then archived and can be used to produce pieces in other forms - such as greetings cards. Based just on the edge of Taunton she is able to access locations such as Exmoor, Dartmoor and the coast - all of which provide beautiful subjects for wall hangings.
Prices are from £57 plus post and packing for a 10 x 8 inch giclée print for you to mount and frame as you wish. Greetings cards are from £2:50 each plus post and packing, or 10 for £20 plus p&p. They come complete with high quality envelopes. Of course, larger prints made on archival watercolour paper or on canvas are available - prices according to size and finish. Whatever your choice, you can be sure you will have a piece of art to enjoy for ever. The title of each image can be seen by hovering the mouse over the slide when on screen.
